I see that the competition this month is "Abstract". Can anyone explain the types of images entered under this title? Should they be abstract right out of the camera, or can the be Photoshopped into something abstract?

Rene, I looked up Abstract photography and see what you get. Anything can be edited in photoshop! Have fun with it... I cant wait to see what you come up with!

So, let's see some follow-up images here...what abstracts did you come up with?

Well, here are a few attempts at abstract from pictures taken at the Beaumont Botanical Garden last weekend. I just wasn't confident that these were actually abstracts. BTW, what appears to be the sun was photoshopped in to fill the empty space in that upper right corner.
